3) Describe problem: Yesterday I downloaded this script and I couldn't get it to work. It seems like there's a step missing in your instructions. Do I need to add a 301 redirect in my htaccess file pointing at the "preload.htm" file?

If so, how will this affect my SEO? Will Google see the "preload.htm" file as my home page instead of my index.php file?

Or am I totally lost?

Please advise...
