Do both computers have Windows XP/Earlier or do they have Windows Vista/7. If they have Mac, I can't really help you; Linux you can probably search for some package.

Windows XP/Earlier: Goto cmd and type net send (Click for info)
Windows Vista/7: Goto cmd and use MSG.EXE (Click for info)

I used to use a free package called RealPopup, but that website was taken down; you could surely find a download somewhere.

    Hello,

I thank you for your advice but as i said i tried msg but it couldn't work on our workstations (windows7). I downloaded dmessage software on their website : http://eng.dmessage.com/index.html but it is paying. But since msg doesn't work on our computers i will have to choose other solutions. i don't know yet, i am testing.

    Thanks
