Use Adobe Photoshop to make one. Then you can open it with word and chang it entirly to how you want it to look and still have the links to the pages.
How do you make a photo album with photoshop... can I use PS 6?
If you want, take a look at my website and go to the PHOTOGRAPHY sections.
There are some webpages there that display photos using CSS. Simple but semi-slick.
I only use a couple of backgrounds for Site I.D. and Navigation buttons.
Save the CSS files in a subfolder and update the links in the page.

this is a photo gallery using xml and php. only you have to do is upload photos to a folder and it generates thumbnails and names for them automatically. it has fla source so you can edit the layout. the link is below

for the online gallery on http://www.euroimage.co.uk I used iPhoto (Mac OS X 'tiger') and a plug-in called 'Simple Viewer' from the Apple site. It then creates a Flash photo album from whatever image/photo album folder you have selected. It does all the imaging resizing including thumbs, and bundles it into one neat folder.
It wasn't too much of a pain to change the code files that were created either as I had specific color background to match.
Only draw back... my office PC (Win) can not see flash files off the internet!
