Default Image Gallery--wrapping thumbnails in iframe like container

Hi, the image gallery is working great for me but I have so many images in the gallery that I've had to alter the code a bit. I have 130+ images and I've made it so that the hover image stays in the same place no matter which thumbnail is selected. This is fine until I get to a point where I have to scroll the browser down to the bottom thumbnails. The hover image is of course at the top of the page, unseen.

One solution is to simply create multiple html pages but I would like to have all the thumbnails contained in an iframe like container, so that the preview image can always be visible no matter which thumbnail is selected and that only one html file is utilized.

Is there a way to pull this off? Thanks for any help.
