Adding Navigation Arrows to crawler.js

3) I have implemented the crawler script to rotate images on my webpage. It works perfectly. I tried to add transparent navigation arrows to the left and the right of the div using css (seeimage blow). The problem I am hav ing is that when I hover over the navigation, the image blocks the mouseover event to make the marquee speed up to the left or the right. Any ideas how to inco rporate the naviagation arrows? What am I doing wrong?
