Help with Switch Menu

I have this working but my question is, how do you make it so that after you close the page with one of the menus dropped down, when you re-open the page it doesn't start with that menu already dropped down.

The catch is, at least to me, that it still needs to remember which one is down when you clicking between each page because the menu reloads each time.

Edit: I think someone not too far below me is asking the same thing, or similar but I am not sure because I don't really understand the responses. I appologize if this is redundant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
