Accordion Content script using days of the week

3) Describe problem:

I was curious if it is possible to have a panel be already open on a page according to (a), day of the week and (b), time of the day. Not necessary both at the same time (options).
Example:for the day of the week, the web page is a night club and the script is used to show what is happening the current evening and other acts during the week.
So, if you visit the site on Wednesday, the panel for Wednesday would be open to show you who is playing tonight and if you want to see what's on Friday, you can mouse over or click Friday's panel and it will expand to show you who is playing that day.
And if it is a concert with many bands, you could have another script showing the time of the band play now and what's playing later that day.
You still have the option of manually going through it but a panel would be open for that specific day of week or time depending what today's day and time is.
Does that sound do-able?
