Featured Content Glider: IE doesn't render...any ideas?

3) Describe problem: Works fine on chrome and FF but IE the correct font doesn't render within the slider box. The font I am using is Cufon and @font-face, and basically the font will not show in the actual box for this script. However, the <h1> above the box renders the correct font....

When I changed the docType to:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

text does appear in IE, but it is not with the correct font, i.e. the Cufon Font does not render within the box - any ideas?

*** I fixed it by re-ordering the sequence of javascript calls -

Not sure why or how I fixed it but I did - id like to know why!
