IE z-index bug, can't get stacking to work properly
I have just exhausted the Google search results for getting around IE's stacking behavior, and I'm totally stumped.
I have WordPress install with a child theme. Here's the link: http://thehotpinkpen.com
The #branding element contains the
HTML Code:
#site-title span a
which points back to the homepage,
HTML Code:
#site-description
, and an tag. I've tried to use padding to have the anchor fill up the #branding dimensions, with the image sitting behind it, so people can click on the entire header to get back to the home page.
It works fine in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox, but in IE it just won't do what I tell it, and none of the confirmed fixes I've found around the web seem to have an impact.
Can anyone take a look? I think I may be missing something obvious.
