making two things happen from one link

I have create a link at the top of my page, to open one of the layers in my accordian script which site much lower down on the page... and it works great...


But, is there anyway I can have that layer expand, but then for the page to autoscroll down to that bit…. A bit like having a <a name tag> down there, and we link to go to it…


I have basic html knowledge and can’t seem to get it to work.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated…

its close but not quite what im after.




i have a separate link at the top of my page.

it links to my accordion script that sits way way down my html page.


I want the link at the top of my page to do two things.... 1) open one of the layers in the accordain script and 2) scroll my html page right down to it so it's in view.


any help would this would be super appreciated. been wracking my brains for ages on it, finding it super tricky.
