Issue unknown in little JS Script

This was supposed to be a simple Google Images type script, but it doesn't seem to work.

Go to the bottom, and type in "member1" or anything and see it goes to ?search=whateverusaidhere
It was a simple Javascript Login script the JS Internet site. I changed it to work for me. Everything was working fine in a document.write function which used an external CSS. But then it quit working so I tried a window.location... It won't work either. Please help telling me what I did wrong. Thanks!
BTW, I'm super tired tonight so it's probably an obvious problem. Any help appreciated, thanks!
