    1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.4)

    2) Script URL (on DD):
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem: descreveal is set to "always". I want keep the white text for the description but to change the dark grey background color to a brown, specifically #271600. http://www.pearlsofpauline.com/index.html

    Hello sir,
    Just add <style="background-color:brown;"> in your css file...
    or just add this in div tag..

    if the color not suits then try it with color code..
    <style="background-color:#892225;">

    I tried this and it doesn't work. The background is still grey:

    <div id="fadeshow1" style="width: 50%; background-color:#352215; margin: 0 auto; text-align: center"></div>

    Am I missing something here? Your solution seems pretty straight forward.

    If it's the background of the description panel you need to change you can try this css
    Code:
    .descpanelbg {
    	background: #271600 !important;
    }
    You need the !important to override the javascript. Another posibility is to change it in the js file.

    If you need to change the background of the entire slideshow, then look at this thread
