Fade-in shows on different pages?

3) Describe problem:

I would like to have different slide shows on different pages but cut down on file downloads by having one main js file.

I can use

<div id="fadeshow2" style="display:none;"></div>
<div id="fadeshow3" style="display:none;"></div>

so that only fadeshow1 is seen but is there a better way?

I should have made clear that I use the following to have fadeshow1 slideshow show up.

<div id="fadeshow1"></div>
<div id="fadeshow2" style="display:none;"></div>
<div id="fadeshow3" style="display:none;"></div>
