Default Scrollable content script not working on iPad

    1) Script Title: Scrollable content

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex11/scrollc.htm

    our website is: http://www.sewartrageous.com

    3) Describe problem: The script has been working fine, however, we got a chance to look at our website on an iPad and found that the script does not work at all on that device, so the bulk of our webpages are not viewable in that type of device environment.

Is there a way to configure the script to these types of devices, or is there a different script or direction we can use which will accomplish the same type of effect across all types of devices??

I'm using my iPhone now and in fact you can navigate withthis script. Use two fingers and slide them together in the direction you want to scroll. I wouldn't say it's "easy" but there is no good alternative. This is why some sites have special mobile pages. These devices, even if the browser is completely capable, are simply missing some important input options such as hover and right click. If you want it to be easy on an ipad or iphone then make your site simpler. Using a script like that as the main content of your site may be asking for trouble. Content first! But as I said, it is possible.

Thanks, seems like 99% of iPad users would not know how to do that since scroll bars are not even visible, so either the script has to go, or I need to develop a mobile version which does not use the script.

Is there a script which would work across all platforms which would allow the left navigation menu to remain static while the rest of the page can scroll?
