Simple Controls CSS v1.3 - description area not appearing

3) Describe problem:
I've tried to initiate the Description area as shown in simplegallery2; have added descriptions to the last " ", and added the style CSS .gallerydesctext as shown. I've tried adding a Div tag to the page around the simplegallery2 Div tag in various ways and nothing so far has made the description area show up.

what am I missing

I did find that the js file wasn't the most recent.... uploaded the current version and it is popping down the description as it should...
