    Default Facebox issue

    1) Script Title: Facebox

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...ebox/index.htm

    3) Describe problem: Hi there,

I am having problems with facebox. I have set facebox up to open an iframe that plays either a video or an audio file.

This all works great in every browser except - yep you guessed it - IE!

They all play fine, but if you close the window using the close button in facebox, the video continues to play even though it is no longer showing. Examples can be found here:

    Video:

    Audio:

    http://soutonpc.sc16.co.uk/gallery/m...dio/audio.html

Please note that I have not designed or created the site. I simply have added the facebox functions to the links.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

    Tony

    Tony,

I had the same problem and I gave up. I found a better lightbox (free) that has more options for backgrounds.

I love it, it's easy to incorporate and it works flawlessly in IE8!
