how do you make background transparent in fadeslideshow

on line 48 and 54 of the javascript file you will find the black background settings, just replace it with transparent

I have tried this as well, but I have different sized pictures in the slideshow, and the previous picture doesn't disappear so that it can be seen behind the present picture, if it has another size.
Can anyone tell me how to prevent this happening, meaning hiding the previous picture when the next is shown?

my line # 163 I added the ,opacity:0
to fix the last picture being shown if pictures are different sizes.
