CSS Newbie help

Help! I bought a template that is supposed to be easily manipulated, but I am stuck... Can anybody offer some help on a couple files?


I am trying to change the script so there is no white space for text and just have white text over the same grey/black background on my index page or the text box black with white writing. I would like it to match the front page with the faded grey to black background and the text boxes black with white text...Could share files if anybody would be willing to help....

I'm very new to CSS as when I was studying I had already completed my web classes and I'm just getting back into it...
