Default programming a client login/registration website

I'm looking for an online tutorial on how to setup a client login and registration system on a website. I'm running my own server, hosting my own websites, and I have a MySQL database in which I can store client information. I'm also familiar with ASP.NET and VB.NET. All I need is a basic guide for how to setup certain pages on my website that can only be viewed by clients if they log in (which also means having a login page and a registration page). Any help would be much appreciated.

so you mean they can't access those pages if they don't have an account on that certain website?
you could always have default pages which can be viewed by everyone and restrict those that needs a member's account or direct them to the login and registration page... what language are you using?
