Accordion menu not collapsing and displaying incomplete content

3) Describe problem:

We are having problems with an accordion not collapsing and displaying incomplete categoryitems. We are using Expression Engine to generate the list.

The menu is set to hover (links are old) but the first section should have 5 or so categoryitems under it and all should collapse?

Lastly I know the CSS looks odd - we're playing with themes

Can you elaborate what you mean by "complete categoryitems"? Right now you have a lot of markup on the page- it might help if you can create a temporary page with just a stripped down version of the menu on it to better illustrate the problem.
