Is there a way to combine the two above scripts so that users would be able to scroll through the thumbnails, but have the full-sized images load on the same page using the Ajax script?

The photo album script by itself is great, but if the link opens in the parent window and the user then goes back to the page with the thumbnails, the browser does not retain which "page" of thumbnails the user was on. The alternative (and default) is to have the link open in a new window, which I would like to avoid.
