Problems with IE

Issue with displaying text in Internet Explorer (All versions as far as I can tell).
It seems IE is ignoring the layout of the site through the use of divs and css and as such is making paragraph text display in h1 form - not to mention in the wrong column!

The site works fine in Chrome, Firefox and Safari - the issue just seems to be with IE

Can anyone help me out here?
