    Default Mouseover Tabs disagree with Internet Explorer

    1) Script Title: Mouseover Tabs Menu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...seovertabs.htm

    3) Describe problem: Greetings. I have customized your amazing mouseover menu to fit my needs perfectly, and it looks to show up perfectly everywhere but internet explorer. IS there a general patch that will help me? Thanks!

    Please post a link to the page on your site that contains the problematic script so we can check it out.

    Default Mouseover Tabs Menu

    Hi there.

    Thank you for responding.
    Unfortunately I cannot post a link to the site, its completely offline at the moment.
    I work for a large company and I have been asked to create a site for .co.uk clients, we have yet to get the domain name. I know that poses a problem for you, however I was wondering if there was a compatibility patch or code that I could use. I have seen them before on some sites.

    If not I am really unsure as to what to do.
    But I thank you for your help and the wonderful script that you created.

    There is no general one patch that fixes all compatibility issues unfortunately. What version of IE is the issue occurring in for you? If the script works in some versions of IE and not others, you might try adding IE's compatibility meta tag to the HEAD section of your page to have the browser render that page in a particular IE mode that you know the script works in. For example, the following code when added to your page instructs IE to render the page as IE7 does, regardless of whether the browser is IE8 for example:

    Code:
    <META HTTP-EQUIV="X-UA-COMPATIBLE" CONTENT="IE=EmulateIE7">
