    Default Ultimate Fade-in Slideshow v2.4 Timing Issues

    1) Script Title: Fade-In Slideshow v2.4

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem: My test page is here: http://romolochocolates.businesscatalyst.com. Here's the problem:

    Every second or third image, an image is skipped. Additionally, the captions for each photo aren't switching in alignment with the images. The caption changes prior to the corresponding image appearing.

    At first, I forgot to make sure I escaped the single quote in the first caption. I fixed that but it still isn't working.

    The only other modifications I made are in the fadeslideshow.js script file - just a few instances where I needed to change the opacity so a sub-menu within the navigational menu to the left of the gallery wouldn't appear behind the slideshow. Those changes all look like something like this:

    Code:
    		setting.$gallerylayers.eq(setting.bglayer).css({zIndex:0, opacity:1000}) //setting zindex:0, opacity:10000 places gallery in the background
    Here is the code within my HTML page. What am I doing wrong?

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">

    var mygallery=new fadeSlideShow({
    	wrapperid: "fadeshow1", //id of blank div on page to house slideshow
    	dimensions: [790, 312], //width and height of gallery in pixels. should reflect dimensions of largest image.
    	imagearray: [
    		// ["fullimagepath", "click-through url", "target", "caption."], --> no trailing comm after very last image element
    		["http://romolochocolates.businesscatalyst.com/gallery/001.jpg", "", "", "Grandpa Romolo\'s Famous Sponge Candy"],
    		["http://romolochocolates.businesscatalyst.com/gallery/002.jpg", "", "", "Pecan Caramel Frogs"],
    		["http://romolochocolates.businesscatalyst.com/gallery/003.jpg", "", "", "Ultimate Assortment in our Award-Winning Gift Box"],
    		["http://romolochocolates.businesscatalyst.com/gallery/004.jpg", "", "", "Caramel Collection"],
    		["http://romolochocolates.businesscatalyst.com/gallery/005.jpg", "", "", "72% Cacao Pure Dark Chocolate Bars"],
    		["http://romolochocolates.businesscatalyst.com/gallery/006.jpg", "", "", "Meltaways"],
    		["http://romolochocolates.businesscatalyst.com/gallery/007.jpg", "", "", "Truffles"],
    		["http://romolochocolates.businesscatalyst.com/gallery/008.jpg", "", "", "Milk and Dark Chocolate Bark"],
    		["http://romolochocolates.businesscatalyst.com/gallery/009.jpg", "", "", "Chocolate-Covered Strawberries"]
    	],
    	displaymode: {type:'auto', pause:2500, cycles:0, wraparound:false},
    	persist: false, //remember last viewed slide and recall within same session?
    	fadeduration: 500, //transition duration (milliseconds)
    	descreveal: "always",
    	togglerid: ""
    })

    </script>
    Thanks in advance.

    Revert the fadeslideshow.js script to the original. The problem with the z-index can be fixed by raising the z-index for the menu here in the stylesheets/twoColElsLtHdr.css file around line #251:

    Code:
    .catdiv724543 {
    	position: absolute;
    	visibility: hidden;
    	z-index:1100!important;
    	padding: 0;
