Rollover Link-> image appear to the right

Hi all,

I have a menu (see:simple tree menu on DD) and I want to make it so once a user rolls over the link (say, home) an image appears to the right of the word. So far I have tried to use a background image and use padding and all that, but it keeps cutting off the image too much or makes the entire menu look disjointed.

Any ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks!

We'll need to see the page in order to help. It sounds like you've got a good start and just need to work on the formatting.

One option might be to use a higher z-index so that the image doesn't get in the way of the surrounding layout.
