Default amazon drop-down script - can it be centered?

    1) Script Title: Amazon drop-down script

    2) Script URL (on DD):
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...amazondrop.htm

    3) Describe problem: Hello - sorry if this is addressed elsewhere. I didn't see it addressed anywhere.

This is a great script and I use it often. I just had a request to make it horizontally centered. Has anyone done that?

    Thank you,

    Default

Try editing this section of the code

var dropboxleft=360//set left position of box (in px)
var dropboxtop=170 //set top position of box (in px)
var dropspeed=15 //set speed of drop animation (larger=faster)

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I got it to drop into the center of the web page. You may need to play with the settings and test with other browsers and versions. Hope this helps!!

    Hi jline,

I don't know the resolution of the viewers monitors - I could detect it for every scenario - but it would be so much easier if there was a "text-align: center;" CSS settings or something like that.

So if a monitor was set to 1600 pixels wide, 360 pixels left margin/padding wouldn't center a 600 pixel drop-down box.
