How in the world do they do this: collapsible div tough one
hello collapsible div geniuses: please help me!! I have been trying to figure this out all day and it's proving beyond my ability. See my attached images. They are from netvibes.com, where you can go into "mosaic" mode and view your RSS feeds in that format. I think it's so awesome!! I would like to do something similar for a small image gallery on my site.
I assume the image itself is the background image of a div, but what I love and cannot recreate yet are:
- one line of text showing in a partially transparent black div that expands upon rollover. It would be great if I could experiment with maybe two lines of text, but I can't even figure out how to get just one showing.
- the top right corner has a white div showing date, that gives the illusion of being part of the white image border. It changes to a menu on rollover, which isn't so important to me, except if maybe I programmed a "send to" link ito appear, that would be neat.
Can anyone please help me recreate this, it's driving me nuts!!
