3) Describe problem: I am running a loop to content slide lots and lots of images. The way content slider works, all the content must already be loaded into a single page. The problem I'm having is that it gets reeeeaally slow. Once the images all load it fades nicely without issue. I'm wondering, is there a way to get the loading.gif image to show up while everything else is loading?

I tried making it the first image (obviously didn't work). Then I tried making it the background image for the <td> but it didn't seem to work either.

Perhaps there is a way to make the loading.gif image show up while the content is loading and then is replaced by the content (would have a similar effect to Flash).

Any ideas?
