Pop-it going offscreen

I have changed the pop-it script to work with an imagemap that is 500x500px. The top and left hand sides of the image map have no margin, and are therefore right against the sides of the window. When you mouseover one of the shapes, the popit is partly on the screen, but the majority of it is off. As the popit is a little larger (200x400px) and the shapes arent uniform as far as position, is there a way to get it to notice that it is going offscreen and move it?
