    Default Microsoft SQL synchronize advise

    Hi,

A bit of newbie to this type of thing, so looking for some help. We are looking to synchronize local Microsoft SQL database with a remote Microsoft SQL database hosted on our remote web server and we are looking for some advise or example on how to do this?

    Thanks,

Is this a one time thing or something you want to be repeated daily, or perhaps even instantaneous?

You can make a full backup of your database and copy it to your local server. You might even be able to automate this.

But in terms of coordinating the two infinitely (so they are always linked), I don't really see the point.

You can use a remote MySQL host in most cases, so why not do that? Keep one copy of the same data, not two.

Can you explain a little more about your situation? That will probably help us know what to suggest.
