Load a div from another page into a div or iframe into another page

hey guys,

i'm trying to load into a div or iframe a div from another page by id.

i know i might be able to do it with jquery but i need some guidance

You'd need Ajax to load the content.
And you'd need to parse that content to separate the targeted div.

It would be much easier if you control the other page, if you can just separate it and include it into both pages, rather than having to separate it from one.

I suppose you could use a script that would load the whole page then remove all elements except that div.
