Default Accordion menu causing big trouble in IE7

Hey guys. I'm having an issue with a client's site. I used the ddaccordion.js ( http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...menu-urban.htm ) to make this left sidebar menu and it works fine on all browsers except IE7 and below. IE8, FF, Safari, Opera, Chrome, all work perfectly. The accordion slider menu is the one on the left under the top navigation bar - you can access the page online by going to the domain written in the logo.

I have no idea why it's not working since it works fine in every browser except IE7. I've looked at the source over and over again to see if maybe im missing a </div> tag or something, but I'm not I don't think. Also I am sure that the slider is causing all the mess on the page (except for some padding issues on the header ill take care of later) because when I take out the menu, the site functions fine in IE7, albeit with no left sidebar slidy menu.

Any help would be much appreciated. Here is a picture of the problem:
