Smooth Navigational Menu -- Error Message

3) Describe problem: I installed this script on my website, and I love it. It seems to work fine, but, at the bottom left of the browser (when I publish the site), I get an error message, and when I click on it, the error reads:

Message: 'parent().get(...)' is null or not an object
Line: 49

Code: 0
URI: http://www.mywebsitename.com/ddsmoothmenu.js

In my website editing program, it shows the error as being in this part of the code:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="ddsmoothmenu.css" />
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="ddsmoothmenu-v.css" />

ddsmoothmenu.js IS published to the server with my website. And I have copied everything, or so I thought, as shown at Dynamic Drive. I am using an external file file fetched via Ajax, if that matters. How can I fix this error? Thanks! :-)

Thank you for the e-mail address. In the meantime, I was able to figure out my error. I just misread one part of how to do the external ajax file. It's working now. Again, thanks! :-)
