Pausing up down scroller

3) Describe problem: This script is not getting displayed properly in IE 8, where as it works perfectly in other browsers. Since i am new to coding, can any one help me to fix the problem

The demo page works fine here in IE 8. Does your page have a DOCTYPE that forces standards mode?
