Default Custom Cusor Script II (CrossHair Mouse Cursor) Question

    1) Script Title:
Custom Cusor Script II (CrossHair Mouse Cursor)

    2) Script URL (on DD):
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tomcursor2.htm

    3) Describe problem:
Thanks for doing all this, it's much appreciated. I'm trying to modify the script so that it displays a straight vertical line across most (or all) of the screen, instead of just the small area of the cursor. Is it possible to do that with this script? Thanks again for all the help.

As I understand it you can make your own cursor image.
I have made a horizontal line that you can try, just download the attached gif. and swap it with the one you have.
I'm not really sure if it works, haven't tried myself. If you want it vertical you can rotate it or make another one.

I tried that, but no matter the size of the image I load, it restricts it to the size of the cursor.

I created a single vertical line that is 2px wide and 600px long and reference that in the script. When I load a page with the script, the attached image is what shows up as the cursor.

This is what it should look like:

I'm not sure what it is in the script that is causing the image to be cut off vertically and then repeat horizontally.

I should note that the multiple lines is only in Firefox. In IE, it is just a single line, offset from the center of the cursor (to the left), but still the image is cut off vertically to the size of the cursor.

Yes I see, turns out to be more difficult than I thought at first. Sorry, but I have no idea how to fix it. Maybe someone else knows how ?
