how can I modify the haccordion script from http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...haccordion.htm

so that if I set my <ul> width to 960px, then if I have four images of size 650px wide each, then when I hover on one image the others compress in the 960px space to give a result like on this link (second image):

instead of taking the whole page width to open, while the others keep the peekw size as currently. My site's page width is only 960px and thus if I use the actual code then it is going out of the page...
