    Default Javascipt conflict?

Hi I am using Lighbox and another script but when I try to use them on the same page they wont load. There are many scripts on the same page but the two below I think are conflicting with each other. Can someone help me??

There are at least several versions of Lightbox, and countless lightbox type scripts. Which one are you using?

Prototype (a popular library of javascript routines) has at least several versions as well. Some Lightbox scripts require a specific version of prototype and some other scripts from the prototype family (like scriptaculous, effects, etc.). These also come in various versions and where required by a given Lightbox version, must match up with the Lightbox and prototype versions being used. Are you using prototype with Lightbox and/or for something else?

Most of the lightbox type scripts use other libraries other than prototype, or no library.

Regardless of whether you are using any Lightbox or lightbox-like script, if you use another library (other than the prototype family of helper libraries as mentioned above) with prototype, there are likely to be problems.
