3) Describe problem: Is this script capable of opening a new instance of a browser or a new tab within a browser?

Currently I use onClick="jumpTo('links.html') as specified; but what I would like to do for selected menu items only (ie not globally) is onClick="jumpTo('links.html' target="_blank") or something similar that will open the target page in a new tab or in accord with the user's browser settings.

Is such possible?
