    Default Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.4)

    1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.4)

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem: I want to add 2nd fading slideshow to my website but it wont damn activate it self , how the heck do I need to do that , or I do it wrong
    I added another
    Code:
    var mygallery2=new fadeSlideShow({
    	wrapperid: "fadeshow2", //ID of blank DIV on page to house Slideshow
    	dimensions: [250, 180], //width/height of gallery in pixels. Should reflect dimensions of largest image
    	imagearray: [
    		["http://i26.tinypic.com/11l7ls0.jpg", "", "", "Nothing beats relaxing next to the pool when the weather is hot."],
    		["http://i29.tinypic.com/xp3hns.jpg", "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave", "_new", "Some day I'd like to explore these caves!"],
    		["http://i30.tinypic.com/531q3n.jpg"],
    		["http://i31.tinypic.com/119w28m.jpg", "", "", "What a beautiful scene with everything changing colors."] //<--no trailing comma after very last image element!
    	],
    	displaymode: {type:'manual', pause:2500, cycles:0, wraparound:false},
    	persist: false, //remember last viewed slide and recall within same session?
    	fadeduration: 500, //transition duration (milliseconds)
    	descreveal: "always",
    	togglerid: "fadeshow2toggler"
    })

    Please watch your language.

    Anyways, what you show is only one slide show. To have two you would need something like (in the head):

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="fadeslideshow.js">

    </script>

    <script type="text/javascript">

    var mygallery=new fadeSlideShow({
    	wrapperid: "fadeshow1", //ID of blank DIV on page to house Slideshow
    	dimensions: [250, 180], //width/height of gallery in pixels.
    	],
    	displaymode: {type:'auto', pause:2500, cycles:0, wraparound:false},
    	persist: false, //remember last viewed slide and recall within same session?
    	fadeduration: 500, //transition duration (milliseconds)
    	descreveal: "ondemand",
    	togglerid: ""
    })

    var mygallery2=new fadeSlideShow({
    	wrapperid: "fadeshow2", //ID of blank DIV on page to house Slideshow
    	dimensions: [250, 180], //width/height of gallery in pixels.
    	],
    	displaymode: {type:'manual', pause:2500, cycles:0, wraparound:false},
    	persist: false, //remember last viewed slide and recall within same session?
    	fadeduration: 500, //transition duration (milliseconds)
    	descreveal: "always",
    	togglerid: "fadeshow2toggler"
    })

    </script>
    You must also include the target divisions in the body:

    HTML Code:
    <div id="fadeshow1"></div>

    <br />

    <div id="fadeshow2"></div>

    <div id="fadeshow2toggler" style="width:250px; text-align:center; margin-top:10px">
    <a href="#" class="prev"><img src="http://i31.tinypic.com/302rn5v.png" style="border-width:0" /></a>  <span class="status" style="margin:0 50px; font-weight:bold"></span> <a href="#" class="next"><img src="http://i30.tinypic.com/lzkux.png" style="border-width:0" /></a>
    </div>

    If I'm to understand correctly, you aren't going to worry about the slide show right now.

    Instead, you now want help with your layout.

    Am I right?

    If so, offhand I'd say that you haven't uploaded one or more resource files to the server. Things like images, stylesheets, scripts, etc., that the page needs.

    If you want more help on layout, please go to the css forum:

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=6

    and start a new thread.

    If at any time you have a page with the slide show code on it, and you want help with the slide show, post a link to that page here in this thread.

    To help you with the slide show, all I need is a link to your page where you are using the slide show code:

    Please post a link to a page on your site that contains the problematic code so we can check it out.
