Hi. I'm in the process of building my first website and am trying to customize a jquery plugin called pictureSlides (http://www.robertnyman.com/picture-s...ementation.htm). Unfortunately, the developer of this plugin is on summer holiday and has specifically mentioned that he will not check email and so forth until the end of the summer. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to shed some light on a couple questions I have.

Firstly, I'm trying to customize the the Picture Gallery demo, which can be downloaded here: http://www.robertnyman.com/picture-s...ery/index.html

I'm trying to go for something that is much cleaner than appears in the demo. There is a working example at www.nagone.com, which uses pictureSlides and has the functionality I'd like to implement. I would really like to implement the prev/next navigation directly on the photo rather than having separate buttons by splitting the image into clickable areas. It's probably important to note that my photos are not exclusively square like you see at nagone.com, but mainly cycle through horizontal and vertical and some square. And I would prefer the clickable area not to move when the photo dimensions change, so it would probably make the most sense to have a more generalized click area that is split in half for prev/next.

I took a look at the nagone.com source code and CSS and can see more or less how this was applied, but when it comes to actually implementing it, I'm a bit lost. I think the answer is related to a div tag called 'photo_nav' that appears in the main stylesheet. What I need to know is how to take that information and apply it to a new project.

If someone, who is probably much more knowledgeable than I, could explain or demonstrate how to go about this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Take care.
