    Default Dirty-mouthed fox

I was just typing a document in Word 2010 under Windows 7, and all my programs suddenly closed, spitting out the "Windows has applied compatibility settings to this program" message from each of them, except for Windows Explorer, Photoshop CS5 Extended, and Calculator, which didn't close. Among the programs that closed was Firefox 4 Beta 2, which spit out a different error message:

    Attachment 3461

The error message spewed by the fox appeared as a normal Windows "memory could not be written" message, but the title bar was written in Chinese. According to my less-than-perfect Chinese OCR software and Google Translate, it includes multiple strong expletives:

"Yun-Yu Geng Hom submerged steroidal s-Kui Yue Man Bodhisattva arbitrage account. Innovative Bodhisattva Huang arbitrage nine households mound [expletives removed] Tuan Unit bow door pivot - Yi-Jia Hui households household travel..."

I take it that's a complicated way of saying "illegal action," or, more specifically, "Yun-Yu Geng Hom robbed the bank run by bodhisattvas, outraging the teller, Kui Yue. Yun-Yu then filled the bank with water using a giant hose made of steroidal drillbits. The Yi-Jia and Hui families, which had both just gotten back from traveling, could then not make a withdrawal to prevent their nine collective anthills from being repossessed. They sadly watched as a bohisattva came along in his fancy new Repossession Unit and picked them up (with its giant crane) by the little ant-sized doors and took them away. This caused Hui Huang and Yi-Jia Tuan to explode in a volcano of fury."

    Or something along those lines.

That translation is terrible. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just wrong...

    Well, there are two possibilities:
    1. The translation was terrible (it is Google...).
    2. It was nonsense in the first place (actually more likely).

It's probably a combination of both. I should have been more specific: without good context, the reading of Chinese characters is ambiguous. They can mean several different things depending on what else is around them. Clearly that text made no real sense so google probably just guessed the content free meaning: profanity. But in the sentence they probably have some other value, or at least they would if it was written correctly (if it is not).
