Collapsible DIV preloading content
Hi, I am trying to find an Animated Collapsible DIV script with a special property.
I need it to not load the content on page load, this is so I can put videos in each section and have them auto play when the user opens the section and stop when the user closes the section. I have tried some scripts from another site and none of them did this. Thought id come on here to save some time, thanks!

I don't think the div/tab interface is the critical factor here. Its the video play event which you need to assign to each tab so it stops all currently playing videos but also starts playing the one in the visible div. What happens with the div (animated into view, or whatever) is just a peripheral extra.
So, concentrate on getting multiple instances of your video player to behave how you want and then fit them into the div interface afterwards.
We'd probably need a link to a test page and details of the video player you're using to help further though.

This might give you a starting point: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=47803
The post/link which references a one-stop-shop to lots of example setups for JW Player 4 has since changed - here's the new location: http://developer.longtailvideo.com/c...boe/index.html
Download archives for JW Player 4 are here: http://www.longtailvideo.com/players...er-4-for-flash
Version 5 is now out though and thats here: http://www.longtailvideo.com/players...er-5-for-flash, except I dont have any experience using that one, only version 4.

Thanks for the reply, i have looked at that and im not sure its for me (please tell me if im wrong!).
Ill try and explain my situation a bit better.
Here is the page im working on: http://jimeagle.com/videos
This is a PHP loop and in the embedded Youtube code, "autoplay" is turned off.
This means when i open a section it displays the Youtube video but the user still has to click again to watch it.
What id like is when the user opens the section the video player plays automatically.
In at least one browser if i set "autoplay" to on, when the page loads every video will stay to play at once.
Cheers.

I dont really know much about the features of YouTube, having always uploaded videos to my web-host's server, but the video player I've suggested can play videos direct from YouTube too and has the "stop all and play selected video" call (as per my zipped attachment in the http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=47803 thread)that you'd be able to assign to your div tab text, so in that respect it sounds like it would be perfect.
