Default submenu positioning issues in IE7

    1) Script Title: ddsmoothmenu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...dsmoothmenu.js

    3) Describe problem:

Hi, I love dynamic drive scripts. Im sure you hear that all from all the desperate forum posters that need help.

In my case I am having a couple issues. The biggest being that in IE7 (and not IE8), certain submenus are positioning themselves to line up with the right of the parent list item, instead of the left as the rest. I couldn't easily find where this was determined, I figured there is some parameter thats telling it to line up the submenus either with the left or right end of the main menu item.

The other issue is the same reason I switched from jqueryslidemenu - There is a gap between submenu items on IE7 as well. However its at least improved on ddsmoothmenu because rolling over the gaps doesn't make the menu dissapear. Anyway, my second inquiry was about the gaps and if there are any solutions or workarounds for this?

    Thanks
    Nikki

Does the problem occur with the DD demo, or just on your own page? If the later, does your page contain a valid doctype at the very top?
