Cells and Text Shrink on Click in Smooth Navigational Menu (v1.4)

3) Describe problem:

I just downloaded and configured Smooth Navigational Menu (v1.4) and it looks great and works very well, except for one thing. Whenever a menu item is clicked, the text and box surrounding the text shrinks. This happens regardless of whether or not the menu item links to another page or is simply a top-level item.

I looked throught the JS file and I do not know why this happens, as there are no onClick commands that would yield the smaller box.
