    1) CODE TITLE: Automatic R to L Image Link Scroller with Captions and Thumbnails

    2) AUTHOR NAME/NOTES: Michael J. Hill www.javascript-demos.com

    3) DESCRIPTION: Automatically builds a R to L scrolling image link set, with captions and thumbnails. Several configuration variables are available. There are two versions. No framework used.

    Not bad! In the 1st demo however, I noticed the larger image often doesn't load when the page first loads, resulting in just the description being shown as you click on the thumbnails. Reloading the page fixes it. This looks like perhaps a timing issue.

    Thank you for that observation.

    I was not able to duplicate that error, even after clearing the cache in both IE and FF, however I did change the code to account for such a timing error.

    Both of the demos and the .zip file have been updated.

    Great slideshow! Very slick.

    I was wondering though if you add more thumbnails would the thumbnail section be able to slide left and right?

    Also, the image description, how would you go about changing the code so the description only appears when you mouse over the large image.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
