Default Step Carousel won't work in Firefox

    1) Script Title: Step Carousel Viewer

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...epcarousel.htm

    3) Describe problem: I can't get this script to work in firefox. Everything is perfect in IE, but firefox won't activate it. If someone can tell me how to fix these, please do.

I have the script in use at http://dominiquedzaymes.com

Hi I took alook at your page. I presume its the products page you are referring to. The script seem to be working in firefox now so maybe you have fixed it. But then again there are not enough pictures to really see if it works. If you still have problems I suggest you fix a few things. The doctype html does not fit with the self-closing tags you have on the page so you might want to use xhtml doctype instead. There are two <html> tags on the page, only one is needed. On the page there 3 links to Jquery, one of the links does not work, and you probably only need link to one of these files. The <map> tags at the bottom of the page are outside of the body tag. It looks strange to me, I would expect them to be inside( but OK I don't know anything about these tags). Here is a link to the validator's report for your page. It could be a guide to fixing the markup. Hopefully things will run smoother if you correct these errors.

Thanks for your help. I managed to get it fixed just before your post. I don't know what was wrong with it, but I copied a part of the code from somewhere else and it worked just fine. I'll have to go through the old code and compare to see what the problem was, but it works, so I'm happy.

Thanks so much, though, and I will look into the things you suggested.
