I am looking for a script for a simple photo gallery with an admin panel. I want to be able to customize the look of the photo gallery myself via CSS but the script needs to able to accept uploads and categories.

Problem is, all the scripts I've found are quite elaborate and have functions which I don't want. I just need a simple script which has a separate password protected admin panel for uploading and selecting categories. It can be a PHP gallery or any other language which can run on a linux server.

funny - I'd have a use for somethign like this also.

I've used the gallery from DD and lightbox, I've used mediashare, I've used MediaKit, but for some of the sites, I've had to resort to using (*ugh*) wordpress so the customer could easily add photos. something really simple would be nice to have in the toolbox that could be setup, and then you just have an "admin" button that pops up a users/ password / upload photo form, and then use CSS to determine how many photo "cells" to have on the page etc. ....
