Drag/ drop widget homepage

Hi Folks,

I've been trying to create a drag drop homepage like www.bbc.co.uk, google etc.

I can get the basic drag and drop to work, but I can't get the layout to save anywhere. Can anyone please help?

Here is what I have so far.

It uses Glow, which doesn't have any cookie functions apparantly.

Could anyone please help me save my layout, any example code would be much appreciated
