Question Show "Loading..."-gif until Slideshow starts?

    Dynamic Conveyor Belt Script

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...rightslide.htm

I just LOVE this script - it's easy to edit & scrolls like a dream and I am really grateful for having found it!

However, since it contains over 20 images, it takes quite a while before the slide actually starts, so until then people are looking at an empty page on the site.
Now, I've found a short & easy code to include with a page's html in order to display a "loader"-gif-image with an optional text, which disappears once the page has finished loading & works like a charm on other pages.
From what I've read on here, two scripts on one page are not possible, and since this is also in javascript language, what happens is, that the loading message & image just do not disappear once the slide starts.

My question is: Is there something I might could just add to the DD Conveyor Belt Script, or include with the page's html code (simple please, I am a newbie to all this!) to display my loading-gif.image and/or some sort of "loading" text as an indication during the loading process anyway, so people won't think there's something wrong with the page???

I would be so very grateful for a solution & thank you for your time!
