Ultimate Fade Slide Show without preload?

3) Describe problem: I'd like to get rid of the preload-mechanism of the Ultimate Fade Slide Show. I would like the first image to display as soon as possible, and have the other images loaded only when it is needed, hence speeding up the entire site loading...

Okay. Found this old thread. But that cannot be applied any more. Then I dug into it, learned, and edited the code myself. It's working now, I will post my solution here later today.
